ERROR: “Could not read from Google Ads”
This error is a weird one.
Google occasionally throws this error inside scripts that have been running without problems for ages.
Sometimes you have a script running perfectly in account A , and then the same script in account B throws this error.
The cause is _most probably_ an issue at Google’s end.
And that issue might be specific to your account.
Solution:
- Try re-creating the script from scratch (create new script, copy-paste the code, authorise and preview).
I know, it’s a silly solution, bit it does work sometimes. - If that didn’t work, best to reach out to Google Ads Script support via the forum to ask for help, OR use the Google Ads Scripts technical support form.
