Adwords Scripts Auto-complete Not Working, How to Fix?

Autocomplete, aka code completion, is a very useful feature of the Adwords Scripts IDE.
The moment you type the dot after an Adwords Script object, the editor will pop up suggestions for the attributes and methods you can use for that object.

However, there are times this feature is not working:

 

If this happens to you, try some of the following solutions:

  1. Sign in with your Primary Adwords email. Autocomplete does not work when you are signed in with multiple emails and the email used to access adwords is not the Primary email.
    If this does not solve the issue, try
  2. Press Ctrl+Space when your cursor is positioned after the dot to force the autocomplete.
    If this does not solve the issue, try
  3. Save your script and do a hard refresh, then try again.
    If this does not solve the issue, try
  4. Clear your browser cache and try again.
    If all this still does not solve the issue, try
  5. Contact Google Adwords Scripts support through the Adwords Scripts forum.
    Unfortunately, the autocomplete function is a bit unreliable and there have been some issues on Google’s end regarding this feature. Post a question/complaint on the forum and the people from Google will most likely respond promptly.
